Native Mix

Contains blended sands, top soil, peat, loam and a very small percentage of Premix (a), all screened. Suitable for Native garden beds as the application suggests, as Natives don’t need a lot of manure or fertiliser. However, the nutrients they do get from the organic matter in the peat and Premix is more than enough to encourage healthy plant growth.

Plant into or dig in.

Special Lawn Mix

Contains blended sands, Premix (a) and Loam. Can be used for any type of lawn providing it is applied very thinly so the lawn can still see the sun. If application is too thick it may suffocate the lawn. Also must be watered in well for the first few days to stop any burning of the leaf. A natural top dress with fertiliser high in nitrogen designed to feed lawns in the one process.

Landscape Mix

Contains blended sands, Top Soil, Peat, Fine Compost, Premix (a) and is screened. pH: 7 A great all round soil ideal for most applications. Suitable for flowers, shrubs, rockeries and being a peat based mix adds much needed organic matter for under new lawns.

Premium Garden Mix with Minerals

Contains blended sands, Top Soil, Loam, Peat, Fine Compost, Premix (a), Rockdust and Correction Minerals and is screened. pH: 6.5 Our premium garden blend. Great for the veggie garden, exotic plants, roses, flowers, shrubs, fruit trees, herb gardens, palms and is ideal as a base for new lawns and anything requiring rich organic soil. The high humic content, when combined with the rock dust and correction minerals, which stop water and nutrients from leaching creates a balanced friable soil displaying excellent crumb structure and nutrition, making the soil more drought tolerant and helping the environment.

Azalea/Camellia Mix

Contains blended sands, Top Soil, Loam, Peat, Fine Compost, Premix (a),Pine Bark fines, Rockdust & Correction Minerals and is screened. pH: 5.5-6 Suitable for Azaleas, Camellias, Gardenias, Macadamias and raised garden beds and planters. Great bedding mix and for where a lower ph is necessary. The physical properties are as for the premium garden mix, but with improved drainage and a lower ph. We can lower the ph further to suit specific needs, if necessary.

Soil Conditioner

Contains screened Peat, Fine Compost & Premix (a). pH: 7 Suited for general planting other than Natives where a good soil is needed by combining this mix withexisting sand. It is an extremely rich, pure concentrate ideally suited to beds where a strong organic kick is needed. Simply cultivate and water in well.

Potting Mix

A blend of natural Top Soil, Course Riversand, Composted Pine Bark Fines and Fine Compost. A commercial grade mix that has some trace elements and great water retention from the Fine Compost and yet is still a very free draining soil due to the use of Course Riversand and Premium Pinebark. Being of commercial grade, it still requires a slow release organic fertiliser. Most growers prefer this as they can add what suits them for their requirements.

(a) Premix: A composition of Composted Blended Manures

      and selected Concentrated Composted Organics which

      offer a high nutrient value of essential Nitrogen,

      Phosphorous and Sulphur as well as a variety of other

      elements found in Concentrated Organics.

(b) Leachate: Recycled leachate water with high nutrient

      value is a mild form of compost tea.
